Born on 28th Feb, 1956 at Udaipur, Tripura and after completion of school education from Ramesh H.S. School, Udaipur admitted in MBB College, Agartala and obtained degree in Commerce from Calcutta University; Thereafter, obtained LL.B. degree from Calcutta University College of Law, Kolkata. Started practice in the District Court at Udaipur of South Tripura Judicial District since September, 1986 and joined in Grade-I of Tripura Judicial Service on 15.03.2001 as Addl. District & Sessions Judge, South Tripura, Belonia. Held the post of District & Sessions Judge w.e.f. 01.03.04 to 30.01.09 and the post of Registrar, High Court w.e.f. 31.01.09 before taking charge as Registrar General of the High Court of Tripura on 03.06.2013.
