Shri Angshuman Debbarma
Registrar General, High Court of Tripura

Born on 10th October, 1977 at Agartala. Completed his Graduation in English Hons. from Ramjas College, University of Delhi. Thereafter, did his LL.B. Degree from Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi. Joined Tripura Judicial Service In Grade-III on 04.02.2004 and on completion of 1(one) year training, was posted as Civil Judge (Junior Division)-cum-Judicial Magistrate Ist Class at Khowai of the then West Tripura District. Was promoted in Grade-II of the Service in the month of December, 2010. Worked as Chief Judicial Magistrate of the then North Tripura District. Also worked as Deputy Registrar(Judicial)-cum-CPC in the Registry of Hon’ble High Court of Tripura. Was the first Central Project Coordinator in the Hon’ble High Court of Tripura. In February, 2015 was promoted to Grade-I of the service and worked in the Hon’ble High Court as Registrar(Judicial) almost for 4(four) years. Also worked as Additional District & Sessions Judge at Sonamura and Bishalgrah and as the Member Secretary of Tripura State Legal Services Authority. Was promoted in the Selection Grade of the service in the month of February, 2021. Also worked as the District & Sessions Judge, West Tripura, Agartala and North Tripura, Dharmanagar.
